This project aims to map the biodiversity of temporary ponds in the mountain basins of Eastern Transylvania, Romania and to help the conservation and proper use of these habitats as scientific, educational and touristic values. The project runs between September 2008 - December 2011.
The project is financed and mentored by dr. Barbara Knowles, Senior Science Policy Adviser to the Society of Biology, Great Britain.
